April 7th & 8th
Race a "MiG-17" and a "Cobra Attack Helicopter"!
Saturday: 8:00am The group will meet at the firehouse of the Space Coast Regional Airport where each exotic will undergo a vehicle safety inspection followed by a driver's safety brief. After the brief, all participants will report to their vehicles for pictures with military aircraft while mingling with the ground crew and pilots. Afterwards, the group will head back to the firehouse for a quick break before the racing begins. When break time is over, RACE ON!!! Time to go race a MiG-17! Each participant will be given multiple chances to see what they have got against this iconic Russian fighter jet. Once the racing is complete, the group is invited to display their exotics in front of the Airshow's VIP chalet to watch the airshow as they enjoy a catered lunch. At the conclusion of the airshow all participants are also invited to the Valiant Air Command hanger for the Airshow's VIP Dinner where you will meet the airshow performers, see a collection of vintage aircraft and enjoy the evening with a live band. Another advantage to staying for the evening's festivities is that our group will have special permission to make multiple top-speed runs down the runway.
Sunday: 10:00am The group will again meet at the firehouse where each exotic will undergo another vehicle safety inspection before beginning the day's events. Immediately following the inspection we'll get right to the racing! This time you get to try your driving skills against a Cobra Attack Helicopter! As with the MiG the day before, you'll have multiple chances against the Cobra. Once the racing is over, the group may return to the VIP Chalet for a catered lunch while watching Sunday's show. After the airshow, all exotics will receive a private escort off the premises to avoid spectator traffic.
Things to know:
- Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license to drive
- No helmets required
- Lodging not included
- Driver and Instructor only in vehicle during aircraft race
- All participants will receive multiple photos and videos of the event
- Catered lunch will be provided both days
- This event is limited to 20 exotics
We greatly appreciate the interest in our events from those wishing to come see the action! However, there are a few things anyone wishing to come watch needs to know. First off, this is a “pre-show” sale option only. If you wish to attend as a spectator, you MUST pre-order via this website and make your purchase before the event date. The day of the event, there will be road guards that ARE NOT related to our event who are there for the air show. They will not allow anyone access that doesn’t have a pass. When you buy online, you will receive an email that will serve as your pass. EVERY passenger in each vehicle MUST have their own pass or show on one pass that enough were purchased together to accommodate everyone in the vehicle. The road guards have strict instructions from the FAA not to allow ANYONE past them without proper passes. Please ensure you have all passes required before coming or you will be turned away. Once you’ve made it to the Space Coast Regional Firehouse, you’ll see signs for “Spectator Parking” but due to the limited space available, the parking lot is grass, not paved. Once you leave the parking lot you’ll move towards the firehouse where you’ll see an aisle towards the right of the station labeled “Spectator Entrance”. All staff members will be on the other side of the airfield when you arrive but once we have been given clearance we will open the firehouse door and allow everyone inside no later than 11:00. Once inside, a Precision staff member will then check your passes for each individual and issue wrist bands for the event. Due to the nature of our event and the fact that they are timed down to the minute, there is a very specific window for you to arrive and you MUST arrive inside said window. The arrival time will be 10:30 am. Please do not arrive any earlier than that. However, if you arrive after 11:00 and the firehouse doors have been closed, you’ve missed the event brief and therefor will not be allowed inside. Once the group has been briefed everyone will be allowed to view the event from a “Spectator Area”. Once the event is over, the spectators will be escorted from the “Spectator Area” to the exit. Due to safety reasons, spectators will not be permitted up to and around the participant vehicles. Immediately following the event, the air show is scheduled to start and the firehouse is technically in the aerobatic box which is restricted space and ALL event members must exit the area immediately following the event. Everyone will be welcome to attend the air show on the other side of the airport but admission to our event does not include admission to the air show. We hope to see you there!
